hello- any clues...must be something very minor... I used to be able to record ATSC now when I record I get 0kb file length with video name. Config/Directories/recording Directories (e.g. buffer) pointing to a valid location, etc.

Assuming you haven't checked the live feed lately... check the antenna and cables. I had that for a bit until I finally decided to fix it; narrowed the problem down to only one tuner doing it. ...the coax got unplugged at the tuner card.

YMMV, just tossing it out there.

Native software? You know, I don;t remember what I installed. Maybe I'd better install it?

The thing is.... it 's actually tuned quite a few channels just fine (I didn;t map them all) So, I don;t understand if the channels get tuned, why only one channel records successfully.... :eek:

I think we may have a similar if not the same problem. Unfortunately, the thread I started several days ago seems to have dried up (no new posts for several days). Look at the thread I started and see if you think we have the same symptoms.
