Recording and Timeshift WinTV 150

I consider buying a WinTV 150 card. I know that the software from Hauppauge seperates Timeshift and Record function. Which means that if you record something you cannot use timeshift. And if you timeshift, it is not a real record.

How is that with GB.PVR and the WinTV 150?
