Newbie: PVR-150 in NZ setup

Hi and thanks for your interest!

I have 32bit XP with my PVR-150 fed via the UHF connection.
EPG is setup via djkxml. At this stage I have just asked for TV1,2 and 3.


I can see channels via the tuning assistant but when I try to view them I get a blank screen with no sound.

Q1)
Im my config sources -> I can see Channels (named) 1,2 & 3 listed as "source channel" 1, 2 and 3. Is this correct? When I use the tuning assistant TV1 is channel 7?

I have tried manually editing TV1 to be source channel 7 but it didn't make any difference.

Q2)
Config sources -> analogue plugin recorder settings What should I have the source set to? Compsite/Svideo/internal?

When connected directly to an external antenna you set it as "Internal Tuner" & on the Edit Recording Source screen under the source channel heading select the cell (it will turn blue) then type in the actual channel number you got from tuning assistant.

I just had a second thought, once you have it configured as in my message above you may also have to add some codecs to get it to playback, have a look at this page on the wiki about codecs.
