Under Config --> Capture Sources --> Edit Source --> Recording Source --> Settings --> Quality Profile Settings -->

I cannot get this to default to anything but Medium Quality, then every time I set to record, I need to change the qaulity from Medium to High. Is there a way to make the Default High? or Custom?

No, this isnt the way it works.

In hindsight instead of "Medium" I should have called it "Default". This setting is always used when you do a quick record. If you want different settings for the default, then edit the "default"  and chanhe the bitrate/resolution/etc to whatever you want.

Thanks Sub, so basically what you are saying is that I can modify the "Medium" setting to whatever bitrates, etc I want, click OK and then my default will be my programmed "Medium" (although they will be modified) settings?

Please let me know.

Thanks!

I decided to go with VBR. I chose 384 on the audio, but it doesnt encode more than 224. Is that odd?

its possible no one has recorded at a higher audio rate in this mode. Most people just change the bitrate for video,

cheers,
Colin.

I have the same problem.

Audio Rate set to 384, but records at 224.

Is this a bug, or GBPVR limitation?
