One channel audio video sync problem

Hello,
I have a healthy GBPVR setup. The 4 tunners work fine, live TV works fine. Latest version etc.

I'm watching and recording using ATSC. ONE channel in Detroit, WADL has a problem. I remember reading in this forum one post about someone mentioning that when recording anything on ONE particular station, the video goes really fast and the audio is at the normal speed. When watching LIVE, the video is fast-jerky, pausing to let the audio keep up. I cannot find that post now.

If all other ATSC stations are fine, what could be the problem with this one? It occurs with all shows on this one channel.

It's pretty late to reply I know but I found the culprit. I use FFDshow as the video decoder. when I switch it to something like CyberLink this problem goes away.
I played around with FFDshow but could not resolve.
So, I switch the playback decoder in the menu before watching this channel. Not a big deal.

I've got the same problem on one channel as described. It's the ABC affiliate in Philly area - WPVI. My setup is GBPVR for recording off Verizon FIOS via ATI HD-650 card, the playback via latest version of XBMCLive on a separate box via megabit ethernet to server, and connected to TV via HDMI. Other stations work fine, even playback at 1080p. The one station has an audio/video sync problem at all resolutions (720p, 1080p, etc) no matter what Mux or other settings I use: audio lag of 5+ seconds, audio dropouts, etc.

Here's the funny thing tho: If I play the video files back using VLC on a regular windows XP workstation, the audio sync problem goes away. Still sometimes some dropouts or freezes, but the overall performance is much better, close to useable. So I'm thinking it's something to do with the player in XBMC Live, which I can't really change out. I think it may also be ffdshow, tho not sure.

Is anyone else seeing issues with XBMCLive as a frontend player for HD shows recorded with GPPVR? If so, how have you fixed them?
