I cannot for the life of me figure this out. I am "using" mc2xml and getting it to output an xmltv file. I aim GB-PVR at that file in the Configuration tab. It says it is restarting the service. But when I open up the TV Guide function, there is no info for the shows.
I just want to get this working and have been searching the forums, trying different programs, etc.. and I can't get it working.

Please help

Did you click the Update EPG button in the capture source tab? If it has no channels, then it don't list anything on the EPG AFAIK.

I clicked the Map digital channels to EPG channels and let it finish. Then I click Update EPC, but I just noticed that underneath the channels I have set (local channels with correct channel numbers) there are a bunch of other channels that aren't correct numbers. Could the feed I am getting be wrong? Or set up with the wrong channels? The TV tuner works but there is no info getting to me.

As Far As I Know....Smile

you don't have to ad dthe channels yourself. updating epg adds the channels..
the new channels you see are correct...
delete all channel in cap source and update epg again..
Then, go in and map digital to epg channels found there in dropdown...

I didn't add the channels myself, the program searched and found the channels itself. So I am not having problems with the channels themselves.
I am wondering if it is the .xml file that is incorrect.
How can I check that? I have read about an Enhancer but don't really know what that is or where to get one.

In my XMLTV file, the channels are listed at the top of the file, before the programme details. The various Enhancers add data to the GBPVR database (or to the XML file). For example, an enhancer might obtain data from thetvdb.com and add that data to the xml. In any event, an enhancer is not the solution to your problem.
