scb147 Wrote:Your problem is the fact that your short date format, in the regional settings in Windows, starts with the year (yyyy). When I switched my regional settings to Swedish, I found the problem. I never noticed this because I never changed my regional settings to one that started with the year.

It has been fixed, but I'm not sure when the next release will come out.

Thanks. I believe YYYY-MM-DD is an ISO-standard, that's why I prefer it. Besides, there's never any doubt if 04/05/10 is fifth of october 2004 or fourth of may 2010 or..., as most countries have their own idea on the interpretation. Well, you get the idea I guess. ;-)

Waiting for the next release then. Thanks for solving the problem!

I've also had this problem. Removing Weather2 stopped the crashing. It seemed to happen after every update.
- Silent client PVR: HDPlex HS.1 aluminium fanless case / Thin-ITX ASRock H81TM-ITX motherboard / Intel Celeron 1850T CPU / 4GB RAM / 120GB SSD / TBS6982 DBS-S2 [SIZE=1]dual-tuner card / Win10+nPVR+Plex Media Player feeding LG OLED55B6V + Anthem MRX510 AV Receiver / PMC GB1 / B&W / REL speakers.
- Noisy NAS: Xeon / Intel mobo / 16GB RAM / FreeNAS + Ubuntu VMs on VMware ESXi + 12TB RAID

I recommend you upgrade to the latest because anything prior to V1.1.1.0 does not parse the weather data correctly, because of a change in the data format.

If you are using the latest version, then you need to post your logs so I can help you figure out the problem.

I also am having trouble with Weather2 crashing pvrx2. I have v1.1.1.2 installed and tried removing all the folders in the plugin folder except "config" mentioned above. Attached are my logs, thank you.

Under Control Panel, Regional and Language Options, what region is selected? And what is in your "Short date:" textbox?

Standard and formats = English (United States)
Location = United States
Short date = 2010-05-24

UPDATE: Per a previous post changed date to MM/DD/YYYY and weather2 is working now. Thanks.

I'm glad you got it sorted out. That was my assumption on the problem.

Any chance you can fix this in a near future? 8-}
