If you want to record analog only only the ATI 600 I don't think GBPVR is right for you. There are several posts about this. I figured after the woot liquidation there would be lots of questions like this.

The filtercheck.log should be located in the main gbpvr folder or in the virtualstore folder.

Well the reason I am interested in using this, is I use media extenders (original xbox), they do not or I do not know how to use them to watch MCE recorded TV. Also I have several PC's I would like to connect to this to do the same.

Good call on the Woot. So am I to gather this is a turd of a card and not worth trying?

For someone searching, I found it under C:\Users\"user account name"\AppData\Local\VirtualStore\Program Files (x86)\Devnz\GBPVR

I have attached it.

I installed SAF, setup the Config as per the directions, and still a no go.

What settings in the Config for GBPVR effect the TuningAssistant? Since I was able to view TV through it at one point.

Side note...I just checked the TuningAssistant and it is now showing the channels. Only thing I did was install SAF. Still won't show live TV in GBPVR though.

Can you post your SAF logs too? Look on system root for them.

That device does not have the required hardware encoder as I suspected. You can add the following to your bda.ini for the digital side though:

My cable provider doesn't allow ATSC unencrypted.

So I gather a Hardware encoder is required for this PVR?
