Did you run the HDHomeRun Setup and select GBPVR as the default application?

Those tuners should not have showed up in the list for only show installed devices unless you edited the bda.ini entries and replaced them with your device ID. If so, you need to also change the device type to "ATSC".

I did edit the bda.ini and place my number(s) in. I found that was the only way initially to get them to be recognized.

OK. I just changed my bda.ini to read as follows:

[HDHomeRun Tuner #1]
TUNING_TYPE=ATSC
RECEIVER_ONLY_MODE=1
FILTER_RECEIVER=Silicondust HDHomeRun Tuner 1018565E-0
PIN_RECEIVER_IN=Input0
PIN_RECEIVER_OUT=Output1

The only thing I've changes was the tuning type, and put in ATSC as you stated.
this time, it Scans. (less channels this time). I see signal strengths listed. It finished as still says "No channels found"

If you are using cable, you need to add a line:

Code:
[HDHomeRun Tuner #1]
TUNING_TYPE=ATSC
[color=Red][B]TUNING_SPECIAL=2[/B][/color]
RECEIVER_ONLY_MODE=1
FILTER_RECEIVER=Silicondust HDHomeRun Tuner 1018565E-0
PIN_RECEIVER_IN=Input0
PIN_RECEIVER_OUT=Output1

Quote:I did edit the bda.ini and place my number(s) in. I found that was the only way initially to get them to be recognized.

The latest versions of the HDHomeRun Setup should have automatically added the entries for you if you selected GBPVR as the default application.

I am using Antenna (OTA)

HDHomeRun did add the lines, but it added the wrong device numbers.

I just re-ran HDHomeRun config, and it add some new lines to the ini.

[Silicondust HDHomeRun Tuner 1018565E-0]
TUNING_TYPE=ATSC
RECEIVER_ONLY_MODE=1
FILTER_RECEIVER=Silicondust HDHomeRun Tuner 1018565E-0
PIN_RECEIVER_IN=Input0
PIN_RECEIVER_OUT=Output1

[Silicondust HDHomeRun Tuner 1018565E-1]
TUNING_TYPE=ATSC
RECEIVER_ONLY_MODE=1
FILTER_RECEIVER=Silicondust HDHomeRun Tuner 1018565E-1
PIN_RECEIVER_IN=Input0
PIN_RECEIVER_OUT=Output1

These appear correct.

I deleted the tuners and started fresh again.
I have HDHomRun Config GUI open and it is cycling thru channes as the program scans (It didn't do this before).

AGAIN. No Channels Found.

Do you have a firewall or antivirus running? If so, you need to add an exception for Config.exe

No firewall, and I have been disabling my anti-virus prior to playing with the program.

I have 2 other pieces of software that have no problem playing live TV and recording... they're just a little slow.

Is your video decoder set to the Microsoft DTV decoder in the playback tab? I couldn't scan channels with that setting, but it worked with the default decoder.

Zip and post your logs showing a scan and I'll see if anything stands out.

OK. I ran through everything above step by step.
It would seem that at some point my firewall had become enabled.
Thanks you for your help!
