Finished setting up GBPVR today but it is unable to record anything. I updated the EPG fine and GBPVR shows the programs in the TV guide fine. I click record on a program and that is fine, even when you view the Manage Recordings page it shows the program as being recorded. The problem is after the show finishes, it disappears from Manage recordings page. I went into the folder where the program is supposed to be saved to and it gives a folder with the name of the program but the folder is empty! Help please.

Attempt a recording, then zip and attach the GBPVRRecordingService.exe.log and GBPVRRecordingService.exe-native.log and I'll take a look.

The logs indicate (to the untrained eye) that it's failing to find filters. Have you tried running Re-Register filters from the start menu. It won't do any harm.

Also. What OS are you running? A forum search for "Failed to find mux filter" brings up this thread which looks like it could be relevant.

I am using Windows Server 2003. I do already have GBPVR running on 2 other PCs with the same software/hardware setup.

I did not notice on my other PCs under tab misc2 the drop down is set to Cyberlink (installed powerdvd), so I have installed powerdvd on the new pc but the cyberlink option is not there to choose from so I guess this is my problem.

The Cyberlink mux doesnt come with PowerDVD.

Try using TS Mux instead.
