Wizmetadata Grabber Annoyance

Normally, I have pretty good luck with it. I've finally encoded my Stargate SG-1 DVDs. I cannot get an accurate result.

My directory structure is: Stargate SG-1\Season 1\(01) Children of the Gods.

I'm using series override with Stargate SG-1 as the series name.

Wizmetadata grabber insists on returning the Season 1 dvd box set from IMDB instead of the episode data from TheTVDB; probably because it's hitting IMDB first and finding probable matches.

Is there a way to disable individual internet searches? Should there be? If it's a TV series, wouldn't I want TheTVDB only?

If WizMetadataGrabber thinks it is a series and Internet search is enabled, it should look at TheTvDb first. And yes, there is a way to limit what sources get searched, see this thread.

If you could zip and post your logs, I'll take a look to see why it isn't getting hits on TheTvDb.

I have seen this behavior in the past when TheTvDb is down or having problems. There my be some indication of the issue in the log files, I don't remember.

Unfortunately, I deleted the existing log files. I wanted to give you a fresh set, started running it, and it seems to work. Oh well.

Thanks for the detail, this should definitely help debugging. As I get some free time, I'll take a look at this.
