I enabled multi-record in Config, <BDADisableStatusChecks> was set already to false and <BDACheckSignalStatusDuringRecording> was also already set to 0. Restarted the PC and still cannot record on my PC but live TV works.

I turned on Windows firewall, restarted PC then turned it back Off. Just incase something was stuck. Still the same proplem. I thought with a wipe clean of hard drive install of windows XP would make things easy. But I'm going crazy after reading many posts and spending hours and hours, please help.
I have also included my latest logs.

I don't know how GBPVR and the socket connections HDHR work so I may have given you bad advise not to worry about having two instances of GBPVR running on your LAN.

There are two machines sharing the HDHomeRun? If the tuners are set up in the same order on each and one is recording, the other won't be able to. If the tuners are set up in reverse order and one is watching Live TV, the other won't be able to record. For that setup, you would need to turn off multi record and turn on the dynamic tuner allocation in the HDHomeRun Setup. I've never tested with that configuration though so I don't know how well it would work.

As for the socket handling, the sockets are only open (and the tuner in use) while the LiveTV/Recording filtergraph is built and running. GBPVR does not hold on to the tuners while they are not in use.

Yes I do have a second PC running GBPVR and sharing the same HDHR. I used this second PC only as a test. I do not plan to use the second PC to record anything I was only testing to see if GBPVR works with my HDHR and all works perfect, live TV. recording etc.... But my problem is my main PC does not want to record (0 file size).

The HDHR does have 2 tuners but I have only set up one tuner (HDHomerun-0) in GBPVR, should I set up the other tuner (HDHomerun-1) in GBPVR or only leave one?

Note sure if I set up (HDHomerun-0) or (HDHomerun-1) in my test PC but will check once I get home.

I have started again from the start, un-installed GBPVR and deleted the GBPVR folder. Re-start the PC and installed GBPVR again, same thing cannot record, 0 KB file, live TV is ok. I think Sub is correct there must be a setting in my firewall that is blocking the recording.

I then renamed the GBPVR folder to GBPVR_org and copied the GBPVR folder from my other PC (that is working perfectly) over and the same thing no recordings. There must me something what is blocking but what? Windows xp firewall is Off, no anti virus. It cannot be my router as my second PC is working perfectly with GBPVR.

Am I missing something else that would be blocking.

Is the "working" PC using the tuners (recording or Live TV) when you attempt a recording on the other machine?

The "working" PC is perfect, Live TV, recording etc. Transfer the GBPVR folder over to my other PC only live TV works no recordings 0 KB files.

I have gone into my services in my "not working" PC to your off windows firewall service. Just in case windows is doing something ever if I have the firewall Off.
Still not recording even with the firewall service disabled. What else is blocking this.
