I've installed my Hauppauge 2250 and created 2 different configurations, one called "Analog" and one called "Digital". I have regular Suddenlink cable and can get about 8 QAM channels. Here are my questions:

1) I can only see my 70 analog channels, but no digital channels. My analog capture source is labeled Device 1 and my Digital capture source is Device 2. How do I get my Digital channels to display along with my Analog channels?

2) Since I can only see my analog channels, they are the only ones that I can record. How do I watch something different than what I am recording? Example: I was recording "Legally Blond" for my wife to watch later, but when I selected something else to watch, it told me "No tuners available to watch requested channel..." "Don't watch TV" or "Watch Legally Blond". This happened even on the channels that I had mapped to a QAM signal.

3) My goal is to be able to record/watch any of the four different combinations: Analog/Analog, Digital/Digital, Analog/Digital, Digital/Analog. How to I configure GBPVR to be able to accomplish this.

I know this is a lot to ask, but I sure hope you guys can provide me with some info on getting my rig running perfectly. Thanks!

With an HVR-2250 you should create four capture sources - two digital, two analog. One of each as device #1, the others as device #2. After this, it should behave the way you want.
