Recording not made but not marked "Failed"

Can anyone tell me from this log why the recording did not complete? The program showed "Ready" but there was no file so the only option was delete. Why would the pins not connect in the last log message? At the time I was able to watch the show live but not record it. I do not use live preview mode. Full logs attached.

Recording not made but not marked "Failed"

Believe it or not, but recordings have only ever been marked as 'failed' if the recording service was not running at the time the recording was due to happen. The next release is a bit better at marking things as 'failed' if something went wrong setting up the recording.

In this case, as you've pointed out, it failed to hook up the device's tuner and capture filters which would have caused the recording to fail. Its not clear why though. A typical reason would be the device already being in use elsewhere in the system.
