The mapping process allows you to map the broadcast channel nmes in the rightmost colum to the EPG channel ames in the leftmost column.

That was it. I had not yet mapped the tuner found channels to the schedules direct name.

What a pain in the neck! The schedule direct names are not the same as the tuner found ones (like Qubo for instance isn't even close). Surprised there isn't an easier way to do this. I'm also receiving OTA more channels than Schedules Direct is giving me for my zip code.

Going to give mc2xml a try too.

If the names in the broadcasts match the names in the epg source, then it'll do the mapping automatic. If the name doesnt match, then GB-PVR has no other info available to know which broadcast channels map which epg channels.

Good to know. None of the broadcast found names match the Schedules Direct EPG channels Sad

Hope mc2xml has matches.

Unfortunately I think that's pretty common in the States.

If it doesn't you can always alter them with mc2xml itself:
Quote: * If you want to rename some channel numbers or names you can create a "mc2xml.ren" text file (in the same directory as mc2xml.dat) listing the colon separated from:to channel numbers or names on separate lines:

(the "from" can also be a channel id, to distinguish duplicate channel numbers or names)

mc2xml.ren

I use it myself in my xmltv/mc2xml/tvxb epg combo Big Grin

Thanks everyone! The mc2xml channels were at least closer to what the OTA channel scan came up so mapping was easier.

Thanks Sykor, I'll likely dig into that later. Though the scanned channels matched closer to the mc2xml EPG channels, my channel order isn't in order, nor do the channels in the guide match what my tv would show.

In other news, I already had an MVP that I used to use years ago - going to dust that off. No HD output from it though Sad

Also need to figure out how to enable the Nero LiquidTV remote that came with my 950q.

Edit: Got the remote to work. Had to load the driver for the Tivo IR unit that came with the LiquidTV pkg.
