Just a reminder for everyone...
I recently upgraded two pc's in my home to Windows 7. One (Server) is my Home Theatre PC the other my regular computer.
I struggled with Windows 7 eventually installing GBPVR into a "public" directory of the HTPC, shared with my homegroup, in order to get the client to see the GBPVR directory. (database share et al)
The thing I forgot...I've seen a few posts in the forum.....You must set Windows Firewall on the server to allow the GBRecordingService through. After I remembered that, the client computer was able to play the live TV.
The playback on the client is still quite choppy using both streaming and file sharing. I'm working on that.
If anyone has any thoughts, I'd be glad to hear them.
