Strange Audio Problem

My cable provider just switched from analog to digital. I uninstalled GBPVR, and deleted the GBPVR folder. I then installed GBPVR and set it up from scratch. I set up all my channels, and all seems to be OK, except, once in a while, I'll tune in a channel, and the audio will be very very slow. It sounds like playing a cassette at half speed. All drivers and programs are up to date.

I've tinkered a bit with codecs, no change. I'm hoping someone has seen this, and can save me some time.

It most likely related to the audio decoder or audio renderer you're using. I'd leave the audio renderer set to 'system default'. What audio decoder options have you tried?

So far, system default, and Microsoft DTV-DVD audio decoder. When I have time this evening, I thought I'd try ffdshow, unless you have a better recommendation?

I usually get this on every second recording that I play. I usually have to restart PVRx2. It happens with pretty much every decoder I've tried including ffdshow and AC3Filter. I just figured it was something specific on my machine since no one else had ever reported it.

Well, installing the latest version of ffdshow, and setting all the encoders to it, seems to have solved the problem. When my input signal was analog, ffdshow caused lockups when trying to watch live TV. With the digital signal, everything seems fine.
