Is it actually slow and annoying you? As long as its still moving several listings every second, it should be fine. If you want to jump a day at a time, just press the skip button.
It's not a huge issue, but I thought you might like to know about the speed difference. I'm running a quad core Q9400 @ 2.67ghz processor, so I didn't know if it would be slower on older machines. Though in fairness, my graphics card is fairly simple and dated.
It's slow enough to say "hmm... that's slow", but not enough to make it unusable.
I've attached my npvr.db3 file for you to try on your end. I've also attached a copy of my modified guide.xml file for the default skin.
