Newbie question on EWA

I have been running GB-PVR for a long time but only in its most basic mode. Lately I have been looking at the web interface piece and loving it, However, I cannot figure out how to set up a recording for the season from within the web interface.

AKA I want all episodes of house on a certain station.

Also I am running the stock GBPVR 1.4.7 with the Season Recordings plugin and whatever version of EWA it installed with.

Is there a way to setup season recording via web interface? would moving to n-pvr resolve this issue? I am tempted to stay on 1.4.7 as it works perfectly except for this one aspect and I could always vnc to the unit to setup season recordings if I have to.

Yep....easy to do.

When you click on a programme on the guide or search results screens there is a Details pop-up that contains the info about the programme along with recording options.

The recording will always be on the channel that the programme you selected is on....so nothing needed there to specify which channel you want to to record on.
The next thing you need to determine is if you want to only record the programme on that day of the week, any day of the week or on specific days.....select which fits what you are looking to do.
The next thing you need to determine is if you want to only record the programme during that time-slot....or record the programme anytime it happens to be broadcast.
Select the quality and the pre/post padding (time added before and after the recording start/end times)....usefull if your programmes do not always start promptly at the start time or end at the end time.

Just check the options on the Detail screen you want....your example would be (I think) Any Day, Any Time...then click Record. That is it.

As a note....after you do this a Season Recording will be created and any programmes in the EPG that fit the selected options will be scheduled to record....and every time the EPG is updated new programmes that come in that match the selected options will be flagged to record as well.
Once a programme is scheduled you can select it in EWA, bring up the details and cancel the specific recording or update the start/end times if needed (i.e. programme is running 1/2 hour late due to something that ran over earlier that evening).
