Help...

Okay here is what happened, I stopped all the services, zipped up the gbpvr directory. Put the MyVideo plugin in, had some issue with it so I decided to back it out, made sure the services and startups did not start, rebooted clean. Renamed the gbpvr and unzippped it, I noticed about 30 seconds from the end the Windows Installer popped up. After everything was done, started services. Went into GBPVR to make sure everything was okay and nothing.. No pendings, no records, no TV Guide. Looked in config.exe and everything (settings) are like the installation was new.

I'm thinking I'm hosed, I also think the problem I had was the config.xml, I think I screwed it up trying to edit the MyVideo plugin section, think the save as did it.

Luckily I didn't have a lot of pendings to be recorded.

If you can help salvage my wreck I welcome it. If you tell me how I can backup and restore in the future, well I'd _really_ like to know that one.

*sub - look for a donation coming soon*

Thanks guys!

Have an idea, I'm going to stop the services. take the config.xml and *.mdb files from the zip file to the gbpvr directory. Worth a shot I guess.

Yeah it did.. Wonder what happened during the 'restore'... I guess it was that danged ole Windows Installer... But I was able to restore the gbpvr.mdb (be back was way larger) and the config.xml (it was okay)
