Interesting. Wouldn't you be afraid of what would happen if the file was already playing (e.g. when timeshifting)? I guess one can't go wrong with a proper backup.

Sub, how does the software decide what file extension to create? I assumed that it is the config setting, which I have set to TS, but when a virtual tuner from Graphrecorder launches a recording, I must create a file with an MPG extension or the system hangs; even a TS extension will not satisfy it. It seems that different tuners have different expectations.
