Updating EPG

Whenever I click on UpdateEPG it takes way to long. Don't remeber it taking this long with GBPVR?
My source is XMLTV I created using Zap2xml. It's located inside NPVR's folder. I update the EPG by going to Settings> Channels> then clicking Update EPG. A "Status" box pops up and it seems like it's scanning? What am I doing wrong?

Are you sure you have every channel set to get the EPG from and external file.
"Scanning" sounds like something wants to get th ePEG over the air. (and it is also slow).
Probably updating the EPG and ten posting your logs will let folk try to see what is happeing.

I only set about 20 channels for testing because I'm using ATSC and I can't tell what channel belongs to what channel number.

Have you set all your channels to use XMLTV ? Unfortunately NPVR defaults ATSC/QAM to get the EPG data from the digital stream, so it would be like a scan.
