Genre sorting with Video archiver??

How do get the Videoarchiver to attach a genre to the various movies? I had it working in an older version of the plugin by making a txt file adding the .desc extension, but it won't work now. When I press the GetDVDinfo icon it starts up, but it gives up after the first movie. What am I doing wrong?

The info comes from IMDB.COM and is then stores in the "video archive.mdb" database. The path to the database is specified using the GBPVR config.exe program. You can use the "DVD Info Editor.exe" program to look at what is specified for each file and to change the description,title, and genre informaiton for each .mpg file stored in any of your DVD directories. If there is a problem, you should see something logged in either the main gbpvr log file or one of the log files in the /jeff subdirectory.

What does Handlingen skal bruge en opdaterbar forespørgsel. translate to? Does it have to do with a reader already being open?

Image logos for recordings come from the folder image (e.g., folder.jpg). As new sub directories are created under the main recordings directory the plug-in will, in the background, look for an image on tvtome.com and, if that fails, imdb. If directories were created before you were using the plug-in you can use the gettvtinfo.exe utilities to look for postrers or download your own folder.jog files.

You should only have to run gettvinfo once to catch up all the images. After that (assuming you leave GBPVR running all the time and the video archive plug-in is a plug-in you use) the video archive plug-in will fetch new images in the background as needed (assuming it can find them).

As to the error, I'm not sure I understand exactly what you mean. Can you post more information or email me the appropriate set of logs?
