Movies as pillerbox

hen I start playing movies, I get a "pillerbox" (black frames all around) or 4:3 view (depending on movie source) and have to right click and select aspect ratio=auto. Can I set "Aspect ratio=Auto" as default somewhere?

And can I stop nextPVR from being run in more than one instance at the time, as GB-PVR.
I have a button on the remote that start NextPVR and if I press it unintentionally, I get a new instance...

It should already do that. If you manually try running C:\Dev\NextPVR\NextPVR\bin\Debug\NextPVR.exe twice (ie, not using the remote's software) do you get two instances?

I started C:\Program Files (x86)\NPVR\NextPVR by doubleclick in the explorer, went back to explorer and doubleclicked again and got two versions. I tried it with 1.33 on a win 7.
I haven't your suggested path, that looks like a Visual studio developer path...

Odd, I'm not sure how you could be getting two instances. Its supposed to only allow that when you run "NextPVR.exe -multi". Its definitely working as intended here.

Ouch. Hate that. I have it on two win 7, anything I can post to help find out a cause?
Or is it possible to use "-single" on the shortcuts (and remote command) to emphasize the behavior I need?

How 'bout the aspect ratio problem? Are logfiles helpful in this case?

I can start as many instances as I wish here too (running 1.5.33).

ah, yes, that's two other bugs I wanted to put in my 'minor bug' post... auto aspect ratio control doesn't work properly, and I can still launch mulitple instances of NPVR.
