Can I enter UNC paths for media folders in NPVR?

Hello all,

my media files are on a NAS, and I would like to enter a path (\\server\volume) instead than mappping it to a letter, as UNC paths seem to be more reliable.

Apparently the NPVR dialog for choosing media folders allows me to go only through drives mapped to letters.

Can I bypass it in some way?

NPVR does support UNC paths. From the 'Browse For Folder' dailog box, I drill down through my network starting with 'My Network Places', then 'Entire Network' etc.

I'm on XP Pro and the names might be different for another OS, but the principal should be the same...
