That's because it's 5.1 throughout, if it changed to 2.0 it would speed up. It's only the change that causes a problem for the divx aac decoder.

I would be very interested to know how you got the Arcsoft decoder to work in npvr as TMT3 doesn't allow 3rd party apps to use it's filters normally.

I placed checkactivate.dll from this thread on doom9 http://forum.doom9.org/showthread.php?p=...ost1392750 in the TMT3 Codec folder. Modified the win.ini as per same thread.

Then produced a ASViD.log file as per this thread http://forum.doom9.org/showthread.php?p=...ost1370607

registered the 3 filters ASVid.ax ASAudio.ax & ASAudioHD.ax
rebooted and all became available

Thanks Lao Pan. The Arcsoft audio HD codec works fine for me on all content from my DVB-T2 tuner including BBC HD where the divx codec was barfing on shows such as Top gear.
