Sub I should have mentioned that the Npvr box with the SAT card in is just a server. We watch all our TV through Npvr clients.

If you take client out of the mix, does it play ok? ie, view the channel directly on the server.

Or if you do a recording, and copy it to the client and play it from there, does it play ok?

Hi Sub, the Npvr server is a right pain to get to and doesn't have a monitor, so I just recorded an encrypted show and then watched it back later. Exactly the same results.

Is there anyway to adjust the timings of the multidec? I just can't understand why it works fine with GBpvr and not with Npvr. It has me stumpedSmile

Are you sure that you have the cardserver/softcam correctl setup?

I'm not sure what you mean exactly. I cant think of any settings that would help the problem you're describing.

I suspect your problem is something to do with client/server mode though, rather than multidec, which is why I think you should perform some local tests to confirm either way.
