Crackling sound when watching and recording simult

First of all great software. Thanks.

I have although one frustrating error. When I playback one of my previous recordings while I'm recording a new one the sound "crackles" and becomes very bad after 5-10 minuttes. Any idea?

I'm using Hauppauge PVR 250 for recording and an Audigy Prodigy 192 soundcard.

I have the same problem too with the crackling when watching a recording, but i notice it happens when i'm transferring files to that computer from another computer. So i think it's a hard drive issue...

My problem is on the same computer. So no network performance related issues involved.
I have the newest sound card driver for Prodigy, it is although a beta, but the same error was with the official released version. I have a strange feeling that it might be sound card related. I have although two sound cards in my PC (my Audiotrak Prodigy and the on-board, which is normally disabled) will it be possible to use óne for recording and one for playback in GBPVR?
Good tip about moving my temp drive of the same physical drive where i have OS and GBPVR installed i will try that soon.
