Martin,

Recently I am experiencing reboots of my mvpmcX2o's. The log attached shows one of these reboots where its resting on the main NPVR menu and then just restart. The PCH is NOT rebooting.

It's inclusive, but I suspect that the TV Recordings plugin using the SetAudioDescription() method to update the Now Playing information is causing the problem. Disable TV Recordings and see if the problem continues.

One thing that I noted is that TV Recordings is using multiple threads to update the Now Playing text. I don't think NextPVR is designed to allow this.

agerdin what version of TVListing-TVRecordings are/were you running? There was a problem with this on the NMT but it was fixed a while back with a patch (that I think was included in a new version posted on the wiki) I have been running it for ages with the panel switched on & off & haven't had any problems since the patch.

Jaggy,

I am pretty sure I am running the latest version. The previous did not even start on the PCH with panels activated.

Anyhow, I am now testing with the default Recordings plugin to see if the problem happens again. The step after that is to start using the TV Recordings again but with no panels.

@agerdin, how is it working now? Can I assume this is a problem with the panel?

martin,

Yes, no reboots since I stopped using the TV Recording plugin. Also Alibert is looking into this http://forums.nextpvr.com/showthread.php...ot-working
