I have 2 Kworld capture cards that were working fine for getting ATSC digital over the air, but have run into a conflict where one will not start. Get error when scanning for channels or attempting to watch TV and other device is in use "unable to start device Device failed to start"

These are Kworld USB 435Q and 435Q V2 (packaging is the same, I had no idea I was getting 2 different cards, but anyway).

The reason I'm thinking it's a NPVR issue and not driver/device issue is because NPVR will detect and use each individually just fine. But when I have both plugged in, only the earlier model (2870) can be used, the V2 2875 fails to start.

It might well be a driver issue, have you checked with the manufacturer that you can actually run two devices in the same computer? I had a case a while ago with two Cinergy C cards, each worked fine alone, but Terratech support confirmed that two devices cannot be run in the same computer.

I did have them both working with windows media center, recording 2 shows at the same time. I've tried numerous different drivers, but always come back to the same issue, if the V1 is plugged in the other is not detected by NPVR. Sure won't switch to media center over it, but it would be nice to have them both working.

Probably one for sub but I can see what's happening.

This is from the log called '2 devices 2875 failed...'

Code:
2011-04-28 08:23:09.577    [DEBUG][1]    Using tuner BDA [B]2875[/B] TVTuner (1)
2011-04-28 08:23:09.598    [DEBUG][1]    About to auto detect capture filter
2011-04-28 08:23:09.610    [DEBUG][1]    Got capture filter: 'USB [B]2870[/B] Device'
2011-04-28 08:23:09.610    [DEBUG][1]    Added capture filter
2011-04-28 08:23:09.638    [DEBUG][1]    ConnectPins failed: hr = 80040217

It's trying to use the 2870 capture filter (USB 2870 Device) with the 2875 tuner filter (BDA 2875 TVTuner) and the two can't be connected..
