Guess I'm lucky and/or just have way more tuners available than I need but I routinely run 2 systems at the same time, both running NPVR and Media Center. Many shows are recorded twice (in case of problems) and I am not OCD, just beta test too much and acquire more than I need. I've never had this happen to me. I have a bigger chance of loosing power in a storm than missing a recording.
