Scanning Optus D1 FTA

I'm confused.
Have NPVR working with an earlier release (Oct 2010).
My Hauppauge Nova Usb tuner scans and finds all freeview channels.
When I tried to upgrade to the Mar 2011 release I find none. This also happened with the Dec 2010 release. Having had a look at the DvbS tuning files I find from Oct 2010

[SATTYPE]
1=1600
2=OPTUS D1 FTA (160.0E)

[DVB]
0=2
1=12456,H,22500,0
2=12483,H,22500,0

But when I look at the Mar 2011 files I find this

[SATTYPE]
1=1600
2=OPTUS D1 FTA (160.0E)

[DVB]
0=3
1=12456,H,22500,0
2=12483,H,22500,0
3=12646,V,12600,0

and cannot successfully view previous scanned channels or rescan.

Remember, the NPVR scan will not list channels that are already in the database. It'll only list new channels. Chances are you've already got these channels setup, and no new channels are listed. So, I'm assuming there is no problem, but let me know if you think that is not the case.

No. The previous channel database can be still there with Epg.
No other channels, not assigned, are found and those that are there are not viewable.
Watching Live only provides black screen.
Deletion of all channels results in a rescan with no results.

Reproduce the problem, then zip and attach the npvr.log and nrecord.log

Have you tried to delete all channels and do a new scan?

I'll send details tomorrow of rescan with Oct 2010 release and then reinstall Mar 2011 and do the same.

Hi,
I've scanned with the Oct. 2010 release then deleted extra channels found.
Installed Mar. 2011 release and scanned as before with no results.
Both set of logs attached.

To be honest, I'm not really sure. I checked the logs and they look largely the same, but with the one set showing no frequency lock.

I also tried my Hauppauge Nova-S USB2 here, and it seems to be working fine with the current release. If finds all the Optus D1 FTA channels.

My compromise has been use Npvr for records and Gbpvr for replay.
Incidentally, I reinstalled Windows 7 and added updates and then saved a system image,
added Npvr, the only program installed, and the results were the same.
Reverted to other system image and back to "normal".
