Client/Server Experiences?

You dont happen to be using a Linksys router as several people including me have had problems and the cure was to ditch DHCP and use fixed addresses.

No, I use a Zoom router, and I've always used fixed IP's on all my machines. Windows name resolution just doesn't seem 100% reliable to me, and is especially likely to fail once you've tried to access a machine that is off or sleeping.
