I'm sure pvrx2 had the option to not display subtitles (I had vobsub installed), can this be done in npvr as well?

My subtitles aren't showing in NPVR.
I use VOBSUB with 'Hide Subtitles' selected.

They can, but only subtitles that NPVR is generating itself, like dvb subtitles, teletext subtitles etc. If you've got vobsub covertly adding subtitles to the playback graph, then NPVR is not going to know anything about it, and isnt able to stop it happening. PVRX2 was exactly the same in this regard.

What about .sub and .srt files, and embedded in an mkv stream didn't pvrx2 pick those up?

I thought it dud, but I had it turned off, and would generally turn off vobsub as well.

The app can do srt files aswell, so it can enable/disable these.

It doesnt know anything about .sub files or vobsub or embedded in mkv. pvrx2 didnt either.

Oh weird, I'm sure I remember seeing two lots of subtitles, and I used to turn off one set with vobsub, and the other was pvrx2. They must have been .srt files. The embedded ones problably only showed up with vobsub, and those could be turn off relatively easily.

How do you enabled/disable srt files in app?
