Nava-T Stick

I picked up a cheap Nova-T Stick secondhand that I'm trying to get going but while it gives good strength & quality figures & scans fine I can't get it to deliver any data when trying to record, that is it looks like it's recording & the directory is created but there is no recording file in it.
I have selected it as the type 5 version

as to me it appears to have a space at the end of the filter name but not at the end of the capture name (filtercheck log attached), the only other thing I can think of is could it share the same driver as the HVR-3000's in which case it will need to be something different than device1??

I guess I must assume from that response that I have selected the right device & it should be device1..... so I wonder why it's not working??

That GBPVR bda.ini section looks correct for the device in your filtercheck.log.

Did you try the device in NextPVR? It should just work. If not, post the logs and I'll take a look.

The problem with trying it with NextPVR is I don't have any USB2 ports on the NextPVR server & from the little I have read about the stick it needs USB2 to work??.... my time is also very limited at the moment & while I have a new (old) motherboard(with SATA&USB2)/CPU/RAM & HDD sitting here for a replacement NextPVR server I don't have the time to build/set it up right now

Well there you go those blasted computer gremlins strike again!@! I worked like a idiot so I could make up some free time to look at the problem & as a start I restarted the recording service a couple of time & away it goes recording fine now..... why didn't it do that yesterday I wonder?? Bloody computers!!!!
