Will NPVR & GBPVR coexist with their own tuners and only one with web/mvp/nmt server?

I "think" the answer may be yes, but confirmation would be handy as this would be for a friends setup who is not too pc literate and some distance away.

Can both NPVR and GBPVR recording services run at the same time on the same machine if they are configured for different tuners.
Only one (npvr?) will be used for an NMT, the other (gbpvr?) would be used on the local machine.

Don't ask the obvious question I asked, otherwise you may get the long winded and confusing explanation I got Wink

Hopefully the above should only run for a couple of weeks.

cheers

Yes, that should be fine. Obviously you need to avoid them using the same tuner at the same time, but if you're going setup separate tuners in each then this wont be a problem.

Based on my limited experience, the short-winded answer is yes. They just can't use the same tuner at the same time. I don't have any idea about the NMT aspect.

OK thanks for that - I had hoped that was the answer.
Mike the NMT oddity with both gbpvr and npvr on the same machine is you cannot define which one will get connected to - so best to disable it on one of the servers.

I still have both running for mvpmcx2 testing. You can run two web servers since they are on different ports, running two MVP servers won't kill things even though the UDP locator is running twice, however you won't can't choose which server to connect too.
