Basically Hoborg is running his desktop at 50Hz. He noticed that when he was use the VMR9 FSE video renderer option, the videocard would switch to 60Hz when the application started. All other video renderer options would leave the videocard at 50Hz. This patch basically forced VMR9 FSE to behave the same as the other renderers and leave the refresh rate at 50Hz.

I have no idea if this is relevant to your ReClock solution or not.

Thanks. The ReClock refresh-rate changing can't work with FSE anyway, so everything sounds like it should be fine.

I think SUB just modify VMR9 FSE to match desktop refresh rate. It has nothing to do with ReClock.

EDIT:
Too late...

It was not when NPVR start, it was when video under NPVR start.
NPVR start correctly at 50Hz, but when i start a video in FSE, NPVR switch to 60Hz. When i hit STOP, it return to 50Hz.
Anyway, now it is OK.

If you have an XP install, try running 'dxdiag' (start>run>type in dxdiag). Check the override setting in the "more help" tab. This can cause direct x to run a different refresh rate compared to the desktop.

BTW, i noticed strange issue when using VMR9 FSE (VMR9 seems to be working OK). When i start LiveTV/start a playback of recording for the first time, video stay at blackscreen and nothing happening. I must press stop and play it again or hit forward, then video play.
If i exit NPVR and start it again, i can reproduce it - black screen for first time, LiveTV sometimes working.

I didnt found nothing in LOG. I tryed play recording 2 times, first time blackscreen, second one was working (same file).

I just forgot to add it there. I'll try to add it for the next release.
