BTW, even though the Microsoft audio decoder claims it supports all the audio formats, support for everything other than MPEG1 Layer II is not supported outside Microsoft software so you'd need to choose other audio decoders for these.

OK, you mentioned that the channel isn't setup for HDMI. That's probably it. Where do I go to change it?

BTW, changing from the Microsoft audio decoder got me where a time-line shows on the screen when it starts so I think we're getting closer.

I am pretty sure you need to delete all your channels from the Colosuss set it up for HDMI and Import again. You might as well set your blaster config up at the same time because you will need to delete re-import anyway.

Sorry for resurrecting this old thread. Do I understand the thread starter correctly? He/she is using a Directv STB and connecting it via HDMI to a Colossus card and is able to record programs (some, many, all?)? I'm under the impression that my Directv box is covered in HDCP and therefore cannot connect to a collosus via HDMI, only component.
