0+skip not in NPVR

I started to notice the autojump far too early a lot in NPVR.

Do you still use PCH's? From my experience and the others I've seen in logs skipping is much more accurate and comskip should be within a second or two and normally this would be a tiy bit late.

It's caused by NPVR. It just doesn't know where it is in a file any more. I've given up on the auto-skip altogether now. There are two config.xml parameters you can adjust that may help:

    <ComskipEndOffset>750</ComskipEndOffset>

Those are my current settings which tells NPVR to jump out 2.5 seconds late, and come back .75 second early.

I'm not sure what you mean... obviously literally hitting 0+skip wouldn't do anything.

Obviously you were out of the loop when GBPVR had this feature. Hitting 0+skip forward during a segment would take me to the end of the recorded segment in GBPVR. Hitting 0+skip back during a segment would take me back to the beginning of segment. Hitting 0+skip back during a commercial break would take me back to the beginning of the commercial break then I could skip back a minute or a few seconds if I thought I missed something from the autoskip or if I missed something at the end of that segment for some other reason.

I have the server in the living room. That would have been too many cables to add a PCH to the living room besides an added cost.

ah, I see, I didn't know that feature was available. I used GB-PVR with comskip for a good year, and never realized it was there. Of course comskip/autoskip was so perfectly accurate in GB-PVR (with DVR-MS mux) it never occurred to me to go looking for such a feature.
