Error using Picture Library

Brand new install of nextPVR on a brand new box. The built in Picture Viewer gives me some error "E_FAIL" and something about "COM". When I look in the logs I see this...

There's no real error in those logs. What's the exact error message you get?

What's behind the Details... button? Also, is this a particaulr file or folder that causes the problem, or every time you go into the Pictures screen?

Looks like a shortcut related problem to me. Do you have shortcuts to folders or shortcuts to images (perhaps by mistake)?

Not that I know of...I added two folders to pictures in npvr settings. One is a UNC path...so, since that always raises my suspicions I decided to point it to the "My Pictures" folder that Bill creates for me and fills with a Sample Pictures folder with some images. Either folder I select in Picture Library gives me that error and basically shows no further folder or images. Do either of those situations seem suspect?

On an XP Pro SP3 system, I added My Pictures in settings. NPVR had no problem opening up My Pictures and Sample Pictures and I can view the samples without problem.

The Sample Pictures is actually a shortcut to the real Sample Pictures folder in the All Users documents folder.

This doesn't help much other than show that it's not a problem in XP...
