Recurring manual recording not working

I'm trying to setup a manual recording to record all "College Basketball*" shows on any channel. The EPG is updating but not recording any "College Basketball*" shows even though there are many instances in the EPG. My manual recording settings are:

Recording Type: Record Daily
Channel: Any channel
Name: College Basketball*
Date: Today
Start time: 12:00am
End time: 11:50pm
Pre-padding: 1 min
Post-padding: 2 min
Keep: All
Advance Rules: None

Manual recording is for a set time it has nothing to do with the epg (ie it wont update from the name)

Do a search or select in the guide "college basket ball" then select"record all episodes, all channels"

As sub explained to you here http://forums.nextpvr.com/showthread.php...post429702 you need to use Advance Rules for that. If you are using an XMLTV utility to add the * you need to change the logic to include the * or the % as a wild card.

you can also use this method, but you have a mistake in the name, there's a space between [name] and *
[like "College Basketball *" not "College Basketball*"]
