actors , star rating and year not appearing in the epg?

I use digiguide data but do not get details such as as star rating or actors in the epg info?
Is this normal ?

Probably.

If the actors are in a <Actor> field in the input file you will be out of luck cos NPVR does not have a corresponding field in its EPG database. Can you get the actor data into the <Description> field?
