More episode "bling"

I was thinking it might be nice to have episode art like TV Listing (image #1), but it doesn't work at all in Recordings I added @previewImage to Recordings meta and was able to get art but it looks like it is just the Media\Show art (#2) So wish #1 is to to have @previewImage show the episode image if it is available.

However in the video library both icon and cover views look pretty drab, they really are designed for covers and not 16x9 style images. Wish #2 is to add episode views that aren't for covers.

Finally it looks like there is a bug in the Video Library, if the filename includes a semi-colon, filename.jpg is not loaded as meta art.

It will show per episode art after you add @previewImage (or with the JustRetro skin by default... shameless plug ) if the image is in the same directory as the recording & with the same name but different extension.

Do I have the wrong version of JustRetro? My version just displays the @previewImage from the Media\Shows image on the Recordings screen. For clarity my wish #1 should be changed to have the recordings screen "prefer" the episode.jpg over Media\Shows.

With more testing I could not avoid showing cover art from Media\Shows if it exists, I had to rename it for this test.

I did post my reply in one hell of a rush as I "did know" it displayed the individual art as I stated, but I "didn't know" if media\show displayed by priority which you have now confirmed it does...

I feel there needs to be a rethink on the whole metadata/art side of things to get it cleaned up once & for all... personally I always thought any metadata/art in media\shows should be the overall/series information & be displayed as priority when you select the main series folder but any metadata/art for a particular video should be displayed as priority when you select an individual video... if that makes any sense at all??

This is fixed up for the next build of nextpvr.exe. It was always my intention that it behave that way, but there was a couple things that was stopping it happening.
