Change slip file size

for the life of me I cant find the registry key setting anywhere in the forum any more to change the size of the slip file in seconds, can someone please remind me

You can create a HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\NPVR\SlipSeconds=3200 registry setting to override the default. This default is 20 minutes (ie 20*60=3200).

wouldn't it be an idea to put all registry settings on the wiki, and maybe give a warning on those settings a user normally shouldn't mess with?

lol, as steeb or mcbainuk would no doubt point out, the best way to get something useful into the wiki is to put it there yourself.
