PIP with Hauppauge remote

If you're using a Hauppauge retail remote you'll need to add a couple of lines to irremote.ini. '*' needs to generate SHIFT-8, '#' needs to generate SHIFT-3, like an MCE remote does.

Can anyone help me with this? I've tried *{shift}8 #{shift}3 but has no effect.

Have you tried just "*" and "#"? I run my haupauge remote with EventGhost, and that's what works for me. I didn't do anything fancy.

For those interested in getting PIP working with the Hauppauge remote, the lines to add to the irremote.ini file are:
TEXT={shift}8
SUBCC={shift}3
