No channels found on device scan

I recant that. I stopped NPVR service. Changed to Other and applied it. Started NPVR service. Started NPVR and did the scan.
Reported good results. Then based on your reply I changed to NextPVR in HDHR and tried to watch. That crashed NPVR.
Stopped NPVR service. Set/applied it to Other in HDHR. Started service and watch without a problem.
Stopped NPVR service. Set/applied it to NextPVR n HDHR. Started service and watch without a problem.

bottom line: it can be set to either setting provided one stops/starts NPVR service when doing the switch.

Interesting results. I've updated my HDHR note in the sticky thread to try "Other - ATSC/QAM" if scanning fails.
