imilne Wrote:Do you want to resume it because you had it closed before sleeping/hibernating, or just because that's what was running? Because on my win7 system if it was running before a sleep, then it's automatically still running after a resume too, I don't need to use a batch file to start it.

As i wrote already - on XP my HTPC sometime refuse to go to sleep automaticaly while runing nPVR. I must close it firstly. I have Win7 just few days, so i will try and see.

I am having a similar problem with wakeup.bat. About every other week after the client has woken up the server they are unable to see each other even though both are on the same router and can see the internet. The solution is to restart the server network device.

Using "devcon" I wrote a wakeup.bat file in the Scripts folder which when run manually restarted the network device but did not seem to run automatically at resume and there is nothing in the NextPVR logs. I saw Hoborg's solution the Win7SuspendResume tool above as a way to run my wakeup.bat file but instead I saw that it can directly restart the network device among many of its options. As it worked immediately on my Vista server I have deleted my wakeup.bat file!
