Does anyone have digital radio working in XBMC? When I try my QAM stations I just get the Working popup The logs show the streaming is taking place (although the MIME type might be off), but it does go to the radio protocol in xbmc

The NextPVR live URL passed to XBMC in a .strm file will play, so I suspect it is an XBMC PVR issue. My streams are AC3, which might be the cause so if mpeg audio is working that might give the xbmc pvr devs something to look at.

Thanks,

Martin

I just checked it here. It's pretty slow to start playing the audio (about 12 seconds), but it's working.

The radio stations I checked were MPEG1-LayerII audio.

Does it make any difference if you disable timeshift in XBMC? This changes the amount of data it'll request from the server for buffering.

Ok.

With timeshift disabled radio started quicker, so I've commited a change to git that disables timeshift for radio channels.

This change is now in the xbmc nightlies, and the addon is at 1.6.4
