sub and mvallevand may remember my struggles with trying to get a button press to change the NICAM (Dual Language) out of my cable box.

Martin did a fantastic job of helping me setup a Webserver in Eventghost for the MVP. Never tried it with the PCH though.

Unfortunately, I had to give it up for two reasons (a) the cable box changed and (b) leaving Eventghost on seemed to interfere with recordings sometimes.

Australian Open coverage has prompted me to look into this again, and all I need is a button that sends "Enter, Down, Enter, Back".
Then I started thinking, rather than Eventghost, if NPVR could send those Keystrokes as a "fake" Channel, it would achieve the same thing.

So what I am wishing for is the ability to send not only channel numbers, but ANY of the four keys above; I'd then add the fake channel to the Channel List, and select it when I wanted the Audio to change.

Would this work?
ASUS STRIX X470-F AMD 2700x 4GHz | Win10Prox64 | 32GB | NVIDIA GEforce GT1030 Fanless | WinTV DMB-TH | WinTV HVR-1280 | Hauppauge Colossus | AC86U/AC68U | USB-UIRT | RPi4 Libreelec | Sony Bravia LCD X9000F Android TV |

To be honest, I can't see I'd add that to the app - far too random/niche. You could probably roll your own solution though. For example, you might have NextPVR calling a batch file for the blaster, and in the batch file you might conditionally do different things for certain channel numbers. From there you could call your blaster executable with whatever parameters you want, including slightly different parameters for certain channels.
