Loganator Wrote:I just wanted to bump this thread. Last week, I freshly installed XBMC 12.2 and NextPVR 2.6.2 on a new computer. Everything was so easy and seemed to be working flawlessly, until I started getting error messages that my disk space was low. I am experiencing the problem where the live tv continues to record. Are others still experiencing this problem?

This thread is about keeping files (which for me is worse than ever right now) but there was another thread about the recording not stopping.

Is there any update to this issue? My hard drive is consistently getting filled with files, maxing out. I need to stop the service and manually delete the files on a frequent basis.

Thanks.

Did you install the patches I supplied earlier in the thread? As far as I remember, this was resolved.

If not, we can look into again when the next release is available. My release is incompatible with the current public release, so I'm unable to provide patches at the moment.

The last patch you posted was in post #100. This didn't work for me. I also followed the instructions in post #109.

Starting at post #113 people were finding that this was not yet fixed as some had previously stated.

As of November 19th, 2013, I'm still having this issue as well. Hoping someone can help... really frustrating...

Can't pause live TV unless I enable timeshifting... if I enable it, HD fills up fast.

I think the crux of the problem is that fixes submitted for this problem still haven't made it into the mainstream XBMC. It looks like they'll finally include those with XBMC 12.3.

Alternatively, if you're running a Gotham build of XBMC, you can try the updated version of the addon from this thread: http://forums.nextpvr.com/showthread.php...ctionality

I know this isn't an XBMC forum... but do we know when the 12.3 update is coming?

I'm not sure when it'll be officially released. You could try the test build (http://forum.xbmc.org/showthread.php?tid=176721), or Gotham though.
